It’s fair to say that we had a fantastic July; certainly weather-wise but sometimes hot sunshine isn’t the greatest walking weather is it? It may be good for lazing in the garden or on the beach but it can be tricky weather for walkers.

Personally I prefer cooler temperatures rather than hot sunny skies and a hot sweaty back under my rucksack.
